Time for Transit Oriented Development

Public transportation is a public service, which everyone is entitled to receive, similar to other basic rights such as education or health services.

Adam Teva V’Din is working to promote the adoption of Transit Oriented Development (‘TOD’) practices and principles within all policies, plans and budgets of the Planning Administration and the Ministry of Transport.

Only by developing multiple modes of public transportation will Israel be able to reduce the number of vehicles on our roads – and the congestion nightmare evident daily on the approach routes to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

Strategic plans for the development of all modes of public transportation is a public service that impacts on the daily life of all of us, in the places where we live, work, study and play.

We need planning for public transport that is accessible to all.
